You may not be aware that I have multiple personalities!  I also write as "Fairelight Silverwings," primarily in the area of spiritual guidance and dream interpretation.  "Fairelight" reaches out to people who are interested in spiritual things but do not necessarily know where to find God in all the spiritual chaos in our society.  She is also available to anyone who needs what she has to offer, but don't expect her to sound "churchy" most of the time.

Anyway, if you want to keep up with what I'm posting, be sure to add subscribe to updates from "Fairelight" as well.  Fairelight Silverwings' Journal of Dreams & Ancient Wisdom.

I have "monetized" the Fairelight blog by allowing Google to put ads on the page.  I'm very new at this and not yet sure how to totally control what type of ads appear.  I'm noticing some ads I do not want, and hope to work the kinks out of it soon.  Please be patient with me.

I've not been as faithful to write here as I had hoped, but I've begun a new venture that will encourage me to be more consistent. As the new Memphis Christian Perspectives writer at Examiner.com, I will be posting articles I hope will inspire, encourage and even cause you to search your heart at times. Some of the articles will feature local Memphis people, places and events, but most of them will be of a more general interest as well. Please pray for me in this new endeavor.

God bless you!

Our perception of God shapes who were are. If we believe God is evil, we will either rebel against the very idea of God, or we may become evil ourselves in our misguided efforts to do what we believe He expects of us. If we believe God is good, we may abuse Him by taking unfair advantage of His perceived mercy, or we accept His grace and attempt to live what we believe by being as good as our strength and understanding allow. How can we be sure our image of God is true? By looking at Jesus. How can we insure we choose the right path? By following Jesus' example. How can we be sure we our hearts are pure and our living is flawless? We cannot. We must pray for growth, trust His grace, and extend the same to others.
